A multi-year construction project, Impact Tiling has been working on the Summerset by the Dunes retirement community in Papamoa since 2020. Almost completed, it promises to be a relaxing beach oasis for all residents. Here we take a look at some of the facilities. 

Summerset by the Dunes is located in the heart of the Bay of Plenty at Papamoa Beach, 4kms to Papamoa Beach town centre, 15kms to Mount Maunganui, and 20kms to Tauranga CBD.

The village offers 287 stunning homes to choose from, including villas, cottages, serviced apartments and memory care suites. Communal facilities include an indoor pool, movie theatre, residents bar, library, hair salon, exercise room and pool table games room.

The Impact Tiling team has been working to bring the tiling elements together accross the complex.

Project Manager Paul le Normand says the project has been years in the making, with the team working hard on the various stages of the build. 

"We started in the villas before moving on to other parts of the complex including the communal facilities and main building that includes tiled kitchens, bathrooms and utility spaces," says Paul. 

"It's been great seeing it come together and exciting to see the end of the project in sight. It's Bay of Plenty beach life at it's best!"
